First, Gray Media announced a deal with the Atlanta Braves to broadcast 15 regular-season games on several of its TV stations in the Southeast as a simulcast of the FanDuel (formerly Fox Sports South/Southeast and Ballys) Sports Network . The stations include affiliates of Palmetto Sports and Entertainment, which began broadcasting in October. In addition Gray will produce 10 Braves' spring training games.
Palmetto Sports & Entertainment's affiliates are WCSC (5.7) in Charleston, WIS (10.4) in Columbia, WHNS (21.2) in Greenville and WMBF (32.3) in Myrtle Beach-Florence. WIS may have low-power booster channels improving its coverage in the Aiken/North Augusta and Sumter areas.
Also, WBTV (3.2) in Charlotte will carry the Braves.
A map showing the Braves broadcast affiliates is at the bottom of this post.

Then, it was announced PS&E stations would carry Saturday's Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas high school all-star game from Spartanburg. Kickoff is 1 p.m., with a pregame show at 12:30 p.m.
There has been no live broadcast coverage of the Shrine Bowl in South Carolina for several years. The game also will air on WCCB (18.3) in Charlotte.

Palmetto Sports & Entertainment is one of several regional sports channels set up by Gray Media. Peachtree Sports Network has stations across Georgia, including the Augusta and Savannah markets which reach parts of South Carolina.
Other Gray regional channels are Gulf Coast Sports and Entertainment in Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee and Tennessee Valley Sports and Entertainment in Alabama and Tennessee.
Gray has stations in the Charlotte, Greenville-New Bern-Washington and Wilmington markets in North Carolina, but I have not seen any news of a possible regional network there.
Earlier this month several Gray Media in the Carolinas carried a pair of Carolina Hurricanes hockey games as simulcasts with FanDuel.
Palmetto Sports & Entertainment's programming includes outdoors, motorsports, poker events, sports talk/gambling programming and sports events from its Raycom (old ACC/SEC events) library.
